Designline Edge TV

In a saturated flat- screen television market, Philips aimed to stand out from the crowd, through the introduction of a ‘Designline’ range. Rather than simply attempting to articulate technological enhancements (as was often the norm in this product category), our design team explored how the television could fit more comfortably into modern, domestic interiors.


Following a collaborative sketch and initial 3D exploration phase, I led this design project through to mass- production, working closely with the design, development and marketing teams throughout the process.


This product won an ‘IF Product Design Award' in 2012.
